San Francisco Rush 2 was a racing game for the Nintendo 64, and it did city racing well. That said, I never did all that much actual racing while playing. Not once I discovered there was an obstacle course for stunts nestled among all the other tracks, and that it was a total blast.

Ugh. Now this game has rare butterflies.
After luring Kid Kat, a superhero cat with a Speed Racer fashion sensibility, to my mess of a camping ground, I lost interest in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. I’d spent hours—sometimes portions of entire days—obsessively and painstakingly crafting furniture to satisfy animals’ requests. I just couldn’t do it anymore.
When I originally heard that Nintendo was in the process of making an Animal Crossing game for mobile devices, I was ecstatic. I am a huge fan of Animal Crossing and love to tap incessantly on my phone screen to receive imaginary digital loot. On top of that, out of all the IP’s that Nintendo is planning to bring to…
Recently I’ve been trying to play AC:NL in a different way of what I’m used to.
So how long has it been since we’ve seen a proper Animal Crossing? Animal Crossing: New Leaf released on the 3DS almost exactly four years ago in 2012. And since then the majority of gamers have left their towns to suffer slow deaths and overgrowth. Two spin-off games weren’t going to satisfy fans. “We want Animal…

Be sure to watch if you’re into that sort of thing.
In case you’ve forgotten, always be cautious of propaganda involving a certain creature in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
Nintendo has some time before the release of the NX next year. With the Wii U on it’s death bed and the 3DS getting long-in-the-tooth, they need a solid plan to keep fans engaged until that magical release date in March (unless it’s delayed). So for your consideration, I offer this up to Nintendo: A plan of action for…
For her birthday one year, I came up with a brilliant plan to pay off my sister’s housing loan. All it took was a lot of love, and a gift of a common house cockroach.
The glowing signal from a piece of tech wants your attention. It tells you something is waiting for you. So every time I open up the case to my 3DS and I see that little green light I get excited. I’m a big fan of StreetPass.

Ahoy, fellow Animal Crossing and/or amiibo enthusiast. Welcome to the official amiibo card exchange of TAY (and Kotaku?). We’re here to help you get rid of those pesky duplicate cards by trading them for shiny new characters you haven’t gotten your hands on.
By many accounts, I shouldn’t enjoy Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival. Nintendo’s latest ‘board game’ outing is far from exciting—lacking the tense moments of cut throat, stressful mini-games and competitive play as with their other familiar game concept in the Mario Party series. That’s probably exactly why I like it.…

It’s been nearly 15 years since Nintendo birthed Animal Crossing into the world. It, along with other a few other risky new IPs such as Pikmin, has become a mainstay in the Nintendo line-up of franchises. We’ve seen regular main series titles for every Nintendo console since it’s release, the last being 2012’s New…
This may not be the game that’s on everyone’s radar but maybe it should be! “Why...?” you ask? There’s a survival game. In Animal Crossing. I’ve now taken to fondly calling it, “When Animals Attack Survive”.
Ok guys, I know we are all just so excited for this release in the fall so here’s a little more info for anyone who cares. Anyone able to translate? It actually looks a lot more substantial than I originally thought.
